Foster arrangement is contingent upon agreement to the following terms: Provide food, shelter, and care, assuming responsibility for the animal(s) wellbeing. Ensure the animal(s) live indoors and are never left outside. Animals without access to a fenced yard must live indoors and be taken outside regularly, and on leash, for exercise and elimination. Comply with all provincial and local laws relative to animal care. Acknowledge that Coastal K9 Rescue Society is not liable for unforeseen health issues. Foster parents are responsible for isolating animal(s) in case of contagion or transmittable disease, and for addressing medical needs. Must notify Coastal K9 Rescue Society if unable to continue fostering. Indemnify Coastal K9 Rescue Society against any liability arising from damage or injury resulting from fostering or related activities. Arrange safe care of the foster animal(s) in the event of travel. If taking the animal(s) out of town for any period of time, must inform Coastal K9 Rescue Society in advance. If unable to take the animal(s) along, must inform Coastal K9 Rescue Society to set up alternative accommodation. Understand that Coastal K9 Rescue Society may reclaim the animal(s) if, in their judgement, foster care is inadequate or agreement terms are violated.
